Alex Toth died last night.
("who's Alex Toth" you ask)
Alex Toth was a illustrator, comic artist and animation designer (he created the character looks and surroundings for Johnny Quest, Space Ghost etc) and pretty much set the tone on many Hanna Barbera shows and influenced a whole generation of comic illustrators. He died while drawing on his table which I can't think of a better way to go, peacefully doing what you've always loved. He was an amazing creator, each character was different and each had their own individual style and you could get a sense of the character's history just by glancing at them. He's also a legened with the brush, take a look at that image at the top, that's some awesome line work...
